We believe in giving back. We are blessed to be able to do this.
Over the years we have supported a variety of causes, from disabled children to starving children in Africa.
It was very sad to discover that much of our monthly contributions were not making it to the children themselves, lost in the red tape and overheads.
Elizabeth Lewis struck a chord with us at [Better].
She is providing African communities with clean water. A commodity we all take for granted.
Dr. Iyer teaches about WATER, and the things we do it in N. America that make it harder to balance hormones.
Dr. Kar has bought all the staff at [Better] glass water bottles to drink from.
We can be picky – what we drink our potable water from. It is not a matter of life or death whether we drink from the tap or not…
Dirty water kills children.
Waterborne diseases kill many more in the 3rd world.
In a round-a-bout sort of way, our doctors teaching patients to drink filtered water and spring water seems to come full circle with providing potable water in Africa.
What is even more important to us is this: Elizabeth sends 100% donor dollars to the project.
She funds herself to get there and live there.
This is incredible and we support her all the way.
Proceeds from our FUNdraisers go to Seeds of Enrichment.
Other Causes We Support
We have a passion for helping people reclaim their lives. It is so rewarding to have people say, ‘I haven’t felt this good for as long as I can remember‘.
It is why we attract the people we do as support staff and colleagues here at [Better].
At the same time, we care about the environment and the community..
It is our philosophy as a company to support those in need.
In the past, we have supported the Rainbow Society and the Mustard Seed Ministry.
Of late, we have turned our attention to children in the global community, where even the basics for life, let alone good health, are so hard to come by.
These are 2 of the children we support.
When you attend our clinic and purchase from our store, you also help us expand our support so more children like these 2 will benefit.
The Rainbow Society was our charity of choice for 2011. A portion of each event was donated. We raised over $4,500.
This organisation fulfills the wishes of children with chronic or life threatening illnesses
